The Doctrine of the Rapture of the Church: End Time Series Volume 1

£10.99

The Doctrine of the Rapture of the Church is the first in a six-volume series based on the belief that the ‘End Times’ are now underway. The idea of the Rapture has been with the Church since it began.

Description

The state of the environment, climatic changes and the disappearing of countless species may well be strengthening the idea that the end of all things is near, and that the Church will be taken, or ‘raptured,’ before then.

Because you have kept my command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. (Revelation 3:10)

This book explores the ‘End Times’ within the Christian faith and draws together a meaningful picture of prophesied events. The author defines what is meant by the ‘End Times’ and provides a clear definition of just what the Church is and then describes the Doctrine of the Rapture of the Church. The book then investigates the truth and consequently the timing of the Rapture.

Taking a pre-Tribulation stance, other perspectives are examined including post-Tribulation, mid-Tribulation, pre-Wrath and Partial Rapture. The author then investigates the Doctrine of Imminence and the analogy of the Jewish wedding feast to the Rapture, together with the problem of the ‘last trumpet.’

The book concludes by describing the impact of understanding the Rapture and the reality of the Christian faith while time is running out in what are surely the last days of planet earth.
